After being received at the reception, you will be asked brief questions about your medical history and family history. For example: Are you taking any medications? Or: Have you ever had eye surgery? Afterward, some brief painless tests are carried out. First, an autorefractor measures your objective refractive values, then, if you have them with you, your glasses are measured, the intraocular pressure is measured with an air-puff tonometer, and an image of the cornea is taken with the Pentacam.
These measurements are then analyzed, and it is quickly determined whether you are a suitable candidate. Of course, if all your data is suitable and you decide to go for laser eye treatment, a medical examination must be carried out as a next step. Only the ophthalmologist can give the final approval for your surgery.
We can conduct this medical examination immediately after a quick check, but if you are in a hurry, you can also schedule a new appointment. For a quick check, you can simply drop by, but making a phone appointment in advance can save you potential waiting time.
Due to legal regulations, a payment of €50 is required for the examination by the doctor.
